Contents of the Medusa detector package
This page shows the components that are present in the standard package of a Medusa survey detector. Auxiliary equipment or other cables are not included by default, but they can be ordered separately.
Smaller survey detectors (MS350/700/1000)
Contents:
- Medusa survey detector
(This can be an MS-350, MS-700 or MS-1000) - MDC-505 power cable
Is used to power the detector with a battery via USB-A connection. - GPS-antenna with 50 cm cable
The cable provides some freedom of placing the antenna somewhere with a clear skyview (if needed). - GPS-antenna stubby
Has a slightly better accuracy than the cabled antenna, however cannot be placed further from the detector if a better skyview is needed. - USB power adapter
Universal power adapter that provides a voltage of 5 V via USB-A. - Calibration report
Report with detector-specific calibration results. - Getting started manual
Short manual to get you started with the detector.
Weight of the complete package depends on the detector type:
- MS-350 box: 6 kg
- MS-700 box: 8 kg
- MS-1000 box: 10 kg
Dimensions of the box are: 50x39x19 cm

Larger survey detectors (MS2000)
Contents:

Model MS-2000 - Connection box
Provides RS-232 and ethernet access and a separate power input. - MDC-600 communication cable
5 meter long lemo-to-lemo cable connecting the detector with the connection box. - Ethernet cable
Establish an ethernet connection via the connection box. - MDC-700 power cable
Lemo-to-flying leads cable. Provides power to the detector via the connection box. - GPS antenna dome
GPS antenna with 3 m cable. - Two MSB-20x mounting brackets
Is used to mount the detector on a survey vehicle. - Generic power supply
Universal power supply with crocodile clamps. - Calibration report
